The 3M Versaflo TR-800-ECK is an intrinsically safe PAPR kit for hazardous industrial sites where explosion risk and particulate control matter, from pharmaceutical processing to spray, maintenance and oil and gas work. It pairs a UL Division 1 rated TR-802N blower and TR-830 battery with a TR-6710N high-efficiency particulate filter and a disposable S-433L hood.

Under UL 60079, the blower and battery are certified intrinsically safe for Division 1, Classes I, II and III, which reduces ignition risk around oil and gas or solvents. The NIOSH-approved TR-6710N filter captures pharmaceutical and many industrial particulates, and the belt-mounted unit stays near the body, which helps movement in tight spaces and during maintenance while airflow stays steady.

Visual and audible alerts flag low flow, and the kit includes a TR-971 airflow indicator. Battery life is 4 to 8 hours on the rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which charges on the TR-641N single-station charger. The kit also holds a BT-30 length-adjusting breathing tube with a BT-922 cover, two TR-6600 prefilters, a TR-838 battery attachment tool, a TR-627 easy-clean belt and the TR-653 storage and cleaning kit.
