The 3M Versaflo TR-300N+ HKL PAPR respirator kit is a ready-to-use beige system for pharmaceutical manufacturing and healthcare, combining respiratory, head, eye and face protection in one system. A disposable headcover connects to the belt-mounted TR-302N+ PAPR unit, which uses a TR-3712N high-efficiency particulate filter, and the NIOSH-approved system has an assigned protection factor of 25.
Used according to its NIOSH approval and instructions, the TR-300N+ protects against particulates; it is not intended for vapors or gases and is not intrinsically safe. Operation takes one button, with two alarm types, one audible and one LED, and breathing tubes connect through 3M's Quick Release Swivel (QRS) fitting to a pre-calibrated PAPR unit. The blower stays close to the wearer's back to reduce the leverage effect that makes a PAPR feel heavier.
The headcover's enhanced visor widens the field of vision and lets patients see the provider's entire face, its shape makes stethoscope use easier, and soft elastic face seals add comfort and cut noise around an integrated comfort suspension. The TR-332 high-capacity lithium-ion battery gives 10 to 12 hours of battery life, and the kit is for industrial and occupational use only.
