Strong Hand Tools BuildPro Alpha 28 Welding Fixture Table, 1.2 x 1.2 m, Nitrided

The Strong Hand Tools BuildPro Alpha 28 welding table has a 1,200 x 1,200 x 200 mm tabletop built from 25 mm nitrided steel plates with 28 mm holes on 100 mm spacing. Plates can be repositioned or removed to suit the job, and a patented plate locating system keeps hole spacing within tolerance without special recalibration.

After surface grinding and machining, each plate goes through QPQ nitriding, which raises hardness and corrosion resistance and helps the surface resist weld spatter. The top plate is P20 steel at 58-62 HRC and the side plate Q345B at 50-55 HRC. Flatness is held to ±0.125 mm per 600 x 600 mm, plate thickness to 25 ±0.06 mm and hole spacing to 100 ±0.05 mm, and the coefficient of friction is 0.37, making this a precise welding fixture table.
