Champion Cutting Tool AC42 Magnetic Drill Press, Drill & Tap, 1-1/2 in. Capacity
The Champion Cutting Tool AC42 magnetic drill press handles five cutting operations from one machine: annular cutters, twist drills, taps, reamers and countersinks. Its 1100 W motor offers variable speed from 225 to 450 RPM with reverse for tapping, magnetic strength is 3800 lbs, and the drill weighs just 29 lbs.
Capacity is 1-1/2 in. diameter x 2 in. depth with annular cutters, 1 in. with twist drills and 3/4 in. with taps. A 3/4 in. quick-change arbor speeds cutter installation, and each drill comes with a 1/2 in. quick-change drill chuck and a quick-change adjustable tap chuck for moving between drilling and tapping.
Champion builds the AC42 for heavy-duty use, and its light weight makes this portable mag drill easy to carry around a job site or shop in the included case. It suits steel fabrication and welding, manufacturing, automotive maintenance and construction work. A drill chuck adaptor, coolant tank assembly, safety guard and hex key are also included.
