Ellis 1800 Miter Band Saw, 11 in. Round, 14 in. Flat, 1 HP 110/220V, 3-Speed

The Ellis 1800 miter band saw is made for structural steel and pipe work, cutting 11 in. round, 10 in. pipe and 14 in. flat at 90°. Its mitering head swings left or right while long stock stays in place, and a 1 HP, 110/220 V single-phase motor powers the saw, which has three blade speeds and a sealed oil bath worm gear drive.

A built-in protractor sets angles up to 45°, where capacity is 9 in. round, 8 in. pipe, 9 in. flat or 11 in. H x 6 in. W. The quick-adjusting camlock vise speeds clamping and changeover, the hydraulic adjusting feed lets the operator fine-tune cutting pressure, and the blade stops by itself once the cut is complete. Speeds of 55, 115 and 230 FPM let this metal-cutting band saw be matched to different alloys.

Heavy-duty welded steel, machined for accuracy, forms the frame, and because the stock is never repositioned, handling long material takes less floor space. The saw takes an 11 ft x 1 in. x 0.035 in. blade, and an 11 ft x 1 in. blade comes with it, along with a removable chip tray. Table height is 28 in., and overall size is 66 in. L x 29-3/8 in. W x 47 in. H.
