Ellis 2000 Miter Band Saw, 11 in. Round, 1-1/2 HP 220V, Miters 60° Both Ways

The Ellis 2000 miter band saw miters 60° in both directions, swinging its head left or right while the stock stays in one place. At 90° it cuts 11 in. round, 10 in. pipe and 17 in. flat, and a 1-1/2 HP, 220 V single-phase motor drives it, with three blade speeds and hydraulic feed.

At 45° the saw still takes 11 in. round, 10 in. pipe and 11 in. flat, or 9 in. H x 11 in. W. At 60° capacity is 6 in. square, 6 in. pipe (6-7/8 in. O.D.), 6 in. W x 9 in. H, or flat stock 7 in. wide and 2 in. thick. Angles are set on the built-in protractor, and a quick-adjusting camlock vise holds the workpiece.

Feed is hydraulic and adjustable, the blade runs at 60, 115 or 230 FPM, and shut-off is automatic. The saw is welded and machined from heavy steel, with a sealed oil bath worm gear and a removable chip tray as standard. It uses a 12 ft x 1 in. blade, the table stands 28-1/8 in. high, and the saw measures 72 in. long, 38-1/4 in. wide and 47 in. high. A 3-phase motor (220-440-460-480-575 V) is optional.
