Ellis 3000 Miter Band Saw, 13-1/2 in. Round Capacity, 2 HP 220V, Variable Speed

The Ellis 3000 miter band saw handles 13-1/2 in. round, 12 in. pipe and 19 in. flat at 90°, with a cutting head that swings left or right so the stock stays fixed. Power comes from a 2 HP, 220 V single-phase motor, blade speed is variable from 60 to 190 FPM, and feed is hydraulically controlled.

Angles are chosen on the built-in protractor, and keeping the stock in one place reduces material handling. At 45° capacity is 13 in. round, 12 in. pipe and 13 in. flat. With variable blade speed and hydraulic feed control, this metal fabrication saw is suited to high-production work.

The frame is heavy steel, welded and machined for accurate cuts, the drive uses a sealed oil bath worm gear, and a quick-adjusting screw-type vise clamps the work. This metal-cutting band saw takes a 13 ft 6 in. x 1 in. blade, comes with a removable chip tray, and measures 81 in. L x 39-1/4 in. W x 50 in. H.
