ESAB Rebel EMP 215ic Multiprocess Welder

The Rebel EMP 215ic is a dual-voltage multiprocess welder for MIG, stick and DC TIG. It uses sMIG adaptive arc control, adds DC pulse for thinner material, and runs on 120 V or 230 V input. It works with DC only, so aluminum cannot be TIG welded.

sMIG follows the arc as the weld progresses and adjusts to the operator's technique. In basic mode only wire diameter and material thickness are set, and advanced mode opens up every arc characteristic. The 4.3-inch color LCD can also display consumable part numbers and the user manual. DC pulse keeps heat input lower, which suits thinner material and limits distortion.

The package supplies the power source with a 10-foot Tweco Fusion 180 MIG gun, a 13-foot Tweco 200A electrode holder and ground clamp and a Tweco TIG torch with accessories. Adapter plugs for 120 V and 230 V, a spare MIG gun parts kit, a sample wire spool and four 6013 stick electrodes are also included.
