ESAB Rebel EMP 285ic Multiprocess Welder, 460-575 V Three Phase, with Cart

This configuration of the Rebel EMP 285ic comes with a cart. The industrial multiprocess welder handles stick, TIG, MIG and flux-cored welding on three-phase 460-575 V input and can weld at up to 350 A, with sMIG adaptive arc control, a 4-roll drive system and a multilingual TFT display.

The welder detaches from its cart for work around the shop or at a job site. The 4-roll drive system takes solid wire to .052 in. (1.4 mm) and cored wire to 1/16 in. (1.6 mm), and the machine also runs TIG rods to 3/16 in. (5.0 mm) and stick electrodes to 5/32 in. (4.0 mm).

Each process can store four settings in programmable memory, and the display also provides language selection, trim, inductance, pre- and post-flow and a spot weld setting. sMIG follows the arc and adapts to the operator's technique, so setup comes down to wire diameter and plate thickness.
