ESAB RobustFeed AVS Voltage-Sensing Suitcase Wire Feeder, Flow Meter, No MIG Gun

The ESAB RobustFeed AVS is a voltage-sensing suitcase wire feeder that works from any CV or CC power source, housed in a drop-proof, weatherproof enclosure. It takes 14-100 VDC input, feeds wire at 51 to 984 ipm and holds 12 in. spools up to 44 lbs. This configuration includes a gas flow meter and no MIG gun.

Its quick-change four-roll drive swaps between wire sizes without tools and keeps MIG (GMAW) wire feeding consistent. Rated wire diameters are .023 to 5/64 in. for mild steel, .023 to 1/16 in. for stainless steel, .035 to 3/32 in. for cored wire and .035 to 1/16 in. for aluminum. Digital meters for voltage and wire feed speed help welders hold a set procedure on critical welds.

The enclosed housing is drop-proof and weatherproof, shedding rain from any direction so the filler metal stays dry, and it has an IP44 protection class with an operating range of -4 to 131 °F. The feeder weighs 40.5 lbs (18.37 kg) and measures 23.4 x 9.8 x 16.9 in. with the top handle. It carries CE, CSA, RCM, CCC, EAC and IEC marks and works with RobustFeed family accessories such as the wheel kit and strain reliefs.
