ESAB Rustler EM 280 PRO Inverter MIG Welder, 280A, 220V, 0700401201

The ESAB Rustler EM 280 PRO is a 220 V inverter MIG welder for fabrication shops, with optimized programs for most metal types already loaded. It covers a 30-280 A range with a 60% duty cycle at 200 A, and the package includes a 15 ft Spray Master 250 MIG gun, a 15 ft ground lead and a Victor gas regulator.

A window for inspecting the drive system, an LED that lights the spool compartment, a torch holder and a low-entry cylinder rack are part of the cabinet design. Controls include a digital display, trigger control, several arc dynamic adjustments and an energy saver mode. Wire feed speed is 80-700 ipm, plate up to 1/2 in. thick can be welded, and the machine is spool gun ready, though no spool gun comes with it.

The power source has a 12 ft power cord with a NEMA 6-50P plug, and the Spray Master 250 gun accepts Velocity consumables. The regulator comes with a 10 ft hose, and drive rolls are supplied for .030/.035 in. solid wire and for .045 in. flux-core wire, ready for flux-cored welding. The welder weighs 119 lbs and measures 38.8 in. L x 17.8 in. W x 33.1 in. H.
