ESAB Cutmaster 70+ Plasma Cutter, 480V 3-Phase, 1-1/8 in. Cut, CNC-Ready

The ESAB Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 70+ plasma cutter in its 3-phase version is a hand-held air plasma cutter for 480 VAC, 50/60 Hz power that weighs 37.5 lbs (17 kg). It pierces 3/4 in. (20 mm), cuts 1-1/8 in. (30 mm) and severs 1-1/2 in. (38 mm), and it comes with the SL60 1Torch and a pre-installed CPC receptacle for CNC work.

Settings appear on a 4.3 in. (10.9 cm) TFT LCD screen and are changed with a glove-friendly knob, and the operator can switch between normal and grate cutting modes. The gas supply can be clean, dry, oil-free compressed air to ISO 8573-1 Class 1.2.2 or 99.95% pure nitrogen at 90-125 psig (6.2-8.6 bar) and 300-500 cfh. For CNC plasma cutting, a 14-pin CPC receptacle and voltage divider come pre-installed, giving start/stop, OK-to-move and divided arc voltage at 20:1, 30:1, 40:1, 50:1 or 80:1.

The SL60 1Torch has a 2T/4T function, a safety trigger lock and a double-tap trigger that saves bottled air; the cutter works with all ATC torch connections, and general cutting and gouging consumables are included. A post-cut air purge helps consumables last. Three handles and an all-weather IP23S housing keep the cutter portable; it measures 18.3 x 7.9 x 12.4 in. (465 x 200 x 315 mm), carries the cETLus mark and operates from 14 to 122 °F, serving general and light fabrication, manufacturing, automotive bodies, HVAC, pipeline and repair work.
