Generac 20kW 3-Phase Commercial Standby Generator, Built-In Cellular, 7271

The Generac 7271 is a 20kW 3-phase standby generator designed for commercial use, with a 3-phase motor for smooth, efficient support of high-demand electrical loads. Built-in cellular connectivity links it to Mobile Link for monitoring and control at home or away, and electronic fuel and ignition control trims fuel use and emissions compared with Generac Guardian Series units, on average.

Real-time updates and maintenance alerts through Mobile Link require a Mobile Link premium subscription, and remote diagnostics monitor performance to help catch issues early. Oil level sensors help keep the generator ready, improved cold start performance supports start-up in cold climates, and long service intervals reduce the time spent on maintenance.

A sloped roof and rear air intake cut the risk of snow and ice getting into the unit. The backup generator also works with Generac PWRcell battery systems and ecobee by Generac thermostats, so home energy use can be monitored and controlled together.
