Generac GP15500EFI Portable Generator, 816cc Engine, Electric Start, COsense
The Generac GP15500EFI is a high-wattage portable generator for emergency home backup, DIY projects and jobsite power, built around an 816cc engine with electronic fuel injection. It runs up to 11 hours at 50% load, TruePower Technology keeps total harmonic distortion under 5% for sensitive electronics, and COsense guards against hazardous carbon monoxide.
Electric start comes with the battery included, and low-oil pressure shutdown protects the engine from damage automatically. The outlets are circuit breaker protected, an hour meter with maintenance resets tracks service intervals, and the large-capacity fuel tank has a built-in fuel gauge. A hardened 1 ¼ in steel tube cradle adds strength and durability.
The never-flat wheel kit is included and a lifting eye accessory can be added, so the generator moves easily around the home or jobsite. With a HomeLink manual transfer switch in place, the GP15500EFI can supply whole-home backup power and serve as an alternative to a home standby generator.
