Generac Next Gen 14kW Home Standby Generator, Air-Cooled, EFIC, Cellular, 7258

The Generac Next Gen 14kW is an air-cooled home standby generator with electronic fuel and ignition control (EFIC), an advanced controller and standard cellular connectivity for the United States and Canada. EFIC improves cold starting and, on average versus Guardian Series models, lowers fuel consumption and emissions for a lower operating cost.

Advanced remote diagnostics run through the Field Pro app, with four times as many diagnostic codes as the Guardian Series, and the controller confirms power transfers to the home. Engine oil level can be checked remotely in the Mobile Link app, and a fuel pressure sensor shows fuel pressure while the engine runs, which helps diagnose issues.

The redesigned enclosure has panels that remove easily and simple access to the customer connection points, and its sloped roof limits water, dirt and ice buildup and prevents staining. Maintenance-free hydraulic lifters lower preventive maintenance cost, and the backup generator works with Generac PWRcell battery systems and ecobee by Generac thermostats.
