The Generac Next Gen 26kW is a home standby generator rated 26kW on LP and 24kW on natural gas, with the Power Zone 200 controller, built-in cellular connectivity and electronic fuel and ignition control. Total harmonic distortion stays under 5%, and the output can start a five-ton A/C unit while serving power-sensitive devices.

The Power Zone 200 controller adds electronic oil sensing and gas pressure monitoring, and the built-in cellular link gives the owner live status and performance data plus remote control of the generator. EFIC improves motor starting and lowers fuel costs, the advanced engine design raises power density with maintenance-free hydraulic lifters, and the unit integrates with ecobee smart thermostats and Generac PWRcell battery systems for home energy management.

The all-aluminum cabinet resists corrosion, and its sloped roof reduces water, ice and snow buildup. The SAE weather protective enclosure is sound attenuated to keep operation quiet and is built to withstand winds up to 150 MPH, and a recessed emergency shutdown button sits on the outside of the cabinet. Its starting battery is not included: it takes a Group BTX20L, 310CCA, 12-volt AGM Powersport type.
