Generac Protector 27kW Liquid-Cooled Standby Generator, CA-MA Emissions, RG02724

The Generac Protector 27 kW liquid-cooled standby generator, in its CA-MA emissions version, backs up a home or business automatically. It senses a utility outage, starts on its own and powers large appliances and sensitive electronics, and its cellular connection lets the owner monitor the generator through Mobile Link.

Quiet-Test runs a five-minute self-test at a lower, quieter speed that uses less fuel, and it can be programmed weekly, biweekly or monthly. TruePower Technology keeps total harmonic distortion below 5% so sensitive electronics and appliances run on clean power, and surge capacity is designed to start and run large electrical loads in homes and businesses.

The engine is a Generac design made only for generator use, with dual-valve, ultra-low-pressure fuel delivery and proprietary controls that oversee more than 100 performance functions across temperature ranges and elevations. A small footprint and neutral styling help this home standby generator blend into landscaping, and the supporting servicer can monitor it through Fleet.
