Generac Protector 30kW Diesel Standby Generator, 1800 RPM, RA03022
The Generac Protector 30 kW diesel standby generator runs at 1800 rpm and is built for residential and light commercial backup power. As an automatic standby unit it restores power within seconds of an outage, and its Power Zone 410 controller has a multilingual, multiline LCD display and is NFPA 110 System Control Capable.
Code Ready combines popular preconfigured options with a range of code-driven accessories, helping the generator conform to building and zoning codes that vary from region to region. It covers external vent and fill, a double-walled base tank with a UL/CUL 142 safety listing and a generator with a UL/CUL 2200 safety listing, and the series meets UL requirements.
With available accessories, the controller extends to system control and remote annunciation. Quiet-Test mode runs the weekly self-test at a reduced, quieter RPM compared with normal running, an external viewing window lets the breaker position be checked, and removable doors give easy access for service and fuel filling on this residential diesel generator.
