Generac Protector 30kW Diesel Standby Generator, 1800 RPM, Extended Tank
The Generac Protector 30 kW diesel standby generator in this configuration has the extended tank, giving a full-load runtime of 2+ days. It runs at 1800 rpm for residential and light commercial backup, restores power within seconds of an outage and uses an Evolution controller with a multilingual two-line LCD display.
An isochronous electronic governor gives tight, precise load response with voltage regulation of +/- 1% as well as frequency regulation. The controller's buttons are color-coded and backlit, Quiet-Test mode runs the weekly self-test at a reduced, quieter RPM, and Mobile Link shows the operating status and maintenance schedule on a smartphone, tablet or PC.
Code Ready combines preconfigured options with code-driven accessories to help this diesel backup generator conform to local codes. It includes external vent and fill, a double-walled base tank with a UL/CUL 142 safety listing and a UL/CUL 2200 safety listing for the generator. An external viewing window shows generator status and breaker position, and removable doors open up service and fuel-fill access.
