Generac Protector 60kW Standby Generator, 208/240/480V 3-Phase, CA-MA Emissions

The Generac Protector 60 kW three-phase standby generator in its CA-MA emissions version supplies 208/240/480 V backup power to a home or business. It senses a utility outage, starts on its own and powers large appliances and sensitive electronics, and the owner can monitor it over a cellular connection through Mobile Link.

Quiet-Test Mode runs a five-minute self-test at a lower, quieter speed that uses less fuel, and it can be programmed weekly, biweekly or monthly. TruePower Technology keeps total harmonic distortion below 5% for sensitive electronics and appliances, and surge capacity is designed to start and run large electrical loads in homes and businesses.

The engine is a Generac design made only for generator use, with dual-valve, ultra-low-pressure fuel delivery and proprietary controls that oversee more than 100 performance functions across temperature ranges and elevations. To resist corrosion in extreme environments, the enclosure is aluminum, the exhaust system is stainless steel and the frame uses electro-galvanized steel and aluminum components. Fuel type is selected at the controller to simplify installation, and the supporting servicer can follow the generator through Fleet.
