The Generac XD5000E diesel portable generator is made for tough jobs and runs on a Yanmar LW Series 435cc engine that is air-cooled, direct-injection and industrial grade. Its sturdy steel frame has an integrated lifting eye for moving and securing the unit on the jobsite, and it carries a large fuel tank.

Total harmonic distortion is 6%, and the output is intended for smooth running of tools, appliances and even sensitive electronics. A 1-1/4 in. steel cradle adds strength and durability to this diesel jobsite generator, while handles, wheels and a front foot come in a separate battery and portability kit rather than with the base generator.
