Hobart Champion Elite 225 Gas Welder Generator, 225A Stick, 10,000W Peak, 500580

Quantity

The Hobart Champion Elite 225 is a gas engine-driven welder generator that combines a 225 A stick welder with 10,000 W of peak auxiliary power. A 23 hp Vanguard engine with an 11-gallon fuel tank drives it, and it is built for fabrication, farm and ranch, and auto repair work.

Auxiliary output is rated 9,500 W continuous and 10,000 W peak, and at 4% total harmonic distortion it is suited to sensitive electronics. Full auxiliary power is available at any welding amperage, without arc interference from other tools or power spikes, and NEMA 6-30 and NEMA 6-50 receptacles power everyday job-site equipment as well as plasma cutters.

The Vanguard engine idles at 2400 RPM and runs at 3600 RPM when welding, and low oil pressure shutdown is standard. Amperage is set with one knob from 25 to 225 A, guided by the Electrode Key on the front panel, while the fuel display also shows the hour meter and service reminders. The enclosed unit has a standard lift eye, weighs 373 lbs, measures 37.06 in. L x 26.5 in. W x 20.13 in. H, and is rated 72.5 dB at maximum weld load.
