The Hobart Handler 210MVP MIG Welder is a dual-voltage wire feed welder that runs on 115 V or 230 V single-phase power through MVP plugs and welds mild steel from 24 gauge to 3/8 in. It handles MIG and flux-cored welding, delivers up to 210 A, and is ready for the SpoolRunner 100 spool gun for aluminum.

Rated output is 150 A at 23 V and 30% duty cycle, with a 25-210 A output range, and the welder offers seven voltage settings on 230 V and four on 115 V with infinite wire feed speed control from 40 to 770 IPM. The power cord carries 5-15P (115 V, 15 A) and 6-50P (230 V, 50 A) MVP plugs that change without tools. Solid steel and stainless wire run from 0.024 to 0.035 in., and flux-cored welding wire from 0.030 to 0.045 in.

The SpoolRunner 100 spool gun plugs straight in, and the integrated spool gun control circuitry means no extra control box or adapter is needed for aluminum welding. A built-in contactor keeps the wire electrically cold until the trigger is pulled, polarity changeover between solid and tubular wire is quick, and the industrial cast-aluminum wire drive has a three-groove Quick Select drive roll. Short-circuit, self-resetting thermal overload and current-limited motor protection guard the 79 lb machine, and a door chart gives initial settings.
