The Hobart IronMan 240 MIG Welder is a heavy-duty wire feed welder for 240 V input that welds mild steel up to 1/2 in. thick and sits on built-in running gear with a cylinder rack. It is spool gun ready for aluminum with no additional interface, and run-in technology slows the wire before the arc starts for smooth, spatter-free starts.

Infinite wire feed control lets the operator fine-tune penetration and bead shape in MIG (GMAW) work, and the reversible drive roll carries two grooves for two wire sizes, which cuts spare parts and changeover time. A hinged feeder panel gives easier access for spool and feed roll changes, the spool hub takes 4- or 8-inch spools, and Fan-On-Demand cooling runs only when needed to save power and draw in fewer contaminants.

The package includes a 15 ft 200 A MIG gun, a 10 ft work cable with clamp, a regulator/flow gauge with a 5 ft gas hose, a primary input cable with plug, a 0.030/0.035 in. dual-groove drive roll, 0.030 in. and 0.035 in. contact tips, and a weld, setup and parts information chart. This version does not include a spool gun for aluminum welding.
