The Hypertherm Powermax85 SYNC plasma cutter package pairs the power supply with a CPC port, a voltage divider and a 180° machine torch on a 25 ft (7.6 m) lead for mechanized cutting. This professional air plasma system cuts and gouges material up to 1 in. (25 mm), has a 3/4 in. recommended cutting capacity and runs on 200-600 V, 1- or 3-phase power.

RFID-enabled SmartSYNC torches set up the system process automatically, and the single-piece cartridge consumable records usage data that can be tracked, which helps manage consumable inventory. Hypertherm rates the cartridge at up to twice the life of standard consumables in hand cutting, with better quality over its life in mechanized setups. Torch styles and application-specific cartridges swap easily on the platform, covering bevel, drag, fine-feature and flush cutting, gouging, max control gouging and mechanized cutting.

Duty cycle is 100% at 66 A on 230-600 V input, and the system runs on air or nitrogen. The package contains the Powermax85 SYNC system with CPC port, a voltage divider and the 180° machine torch with its 25 ft (7.6 m) lead, and the power supply carries the CSA mark.
