Hypertherm Powermax105 SYNC Plasma Cutter, 35 ft Machine and 25 ft Hand Torches

The Hypertherm Powermax105 SYNC plasma cutter is a professional air plasma system that cuts and gouges metal up to 1-1/4 in. (32 mm) thick on 200-600 V, 3-phase power. This package supplies a 35 ft 180° SmartSYNC machine torch, a 25 ft 75° hand torch, a 25 ft work clamp and a power source with a CPC port.

RFID-enabled SmartSYNC torches set up the cutting process automatically, and the color-coded, single-piece cartridge consumables come in gouging, hand, FlushCut/HyAccess and mechanized/stand-off versions. Each cartridge carries trackable life data, and end-of-life detection at the torch and power source signals when a cartridge needs changing; a spent cartridge keeps that status so it cannot be reused by mistake. That detection is switched off with a Fine Cut hand cartridge, at settings below 40 A, or below 55 A when the cartridge and system are not communicating. The kit also holds two 105 A mechanized cartridges, two 105 A drag cartridges, and operator and safety manuals.

SmartSYNC torch features include ready-state LEDs on the handle, a 7-step amperage LED for choosing one of seven preset values, a lock switch for swapping consumables while the power supply stays on, a safety trigger against accidental activation, a fiber-reinforced handle, spring strain relief at the lead connection and an abrasion-resistant lead. Input is 200-600 V, 3-phase only, 50-60 Hz, and the power source weighs 88 lbs and measures 23.3 x 10.8 x 20 in. (L x W x H). Travel speed on 1-1/4 in. metal is 20 ipm, with a recommended air supply of 85 psi (5.9 bar) at 460 scfh (7.7 scfm).
