This Hypertherm Powermax125 plasma cutter machine system is the 480 V, 3-phase CSA version with CPC and serial ports. Rated for a 1 in. (25 mm) mechanized pierce, it puts out 30-125 A of cutting current and runs at a 100% duty cycle for continuous mechanized cutting and gouging of thick metal.

This mechanized plasma cutter runs on 480 V, 3-phase, 50/60 Hz input and carries CSA certification for the Americas and Asia, China excepted. Its IGBT inverter power supply has a 175 VDC rated output voltage, and the unit measures 23.3 x 10.8 x 20.0 in. (D x W x H) with handles. Weight with a 25 ft torch fitted is 105.7 lbs.

Smart Sense technology sets the gas pressure automatically, and the plasma cutting system runs on clean, dry, oil-free air or nitrogen. Eleven Duramax Hyamp torch styles extend the platform to X-Y table cutting, robotic cutting and gouging, portable automation, extended-reach work and hand cutting. On an engine drive, 40 kW is needed for the full 125 A output.
