This Hypertherm Powermax125 plasma cutter power supply is the 600 V, 3-phase CSA version with CPC and serial ports. The air plasma system delivers 30-125 A of cutting current, a 100% duty cycle and a 1 in. (25 mm) mechanized pierce, and it removes metal quickly when gouging thick plate.

The power supply runs on 600 V, 3-phase, 50/60 Hz input and carries CSA certification for the Americas and Asia, China excepted. An IGBT inverter design provides a 175 VDC rated output voltage. With handles, the unit measures 23.3 x 10.8 x 20.0 in. (D x W x H), and it weighs 104.7 lbs with a 25 ft torch fitted. On an engine drive, 40 kW is needed for the full 125 A output.

Smart Sense technology adjusts the gas pressure automatically, and the plasma cutting system runs on clean, dry, oil-free air or nitrogen. Eleven Duramax Hyamp torch styles are available for the Powermax125, so one power supply can be set up for hand cutting and plasma gouging, X-Y table cutting, robotic cutting, portable automation or extended-reach work.
