The JET JDP-15B 15 in. benchtop drill press combines a cast iron head, a poly-V belt drive and a full 3-1/8 in. of spindle travel. Its 3/4 HP, 115 V single-phase TEFC motor offers 16 spindle speeds, while a built-in LED work light and the Xacta-X laser system light the work and mark the drill center.

One-handed belt tensioning makes speed changes quick, the integrated depth stop simplifies repetitive drilling, and the power switch has a safety key with a large paddle-style off button. A large cast iron base keeps the benchtop drill press steady in use.

The 12-1/2 x 17 in. work table has a replaceable MDF insert and an edge lip that makes clamping easy. Chuck size is 5/8 in., column diameter is 2-3/4 in., maximum spindle-to-table distance is 18-5/16 in. and spindle-to-base distance is 26-3/4 in.; the assembled machine measures 27 x 17 x 43-7/8 in. (L x W x H).
