The JET JDP-17 17 in. floor standing drill press offers a full 5 in. of spindle travel, a cast iron head and a poly-V belt drive. Its 3/4 HP, 115 V single-phase TEFC motor gives 16 spindle speeds, and the large 14 x 19 in. work table has an edge shaped to make clamping easy. It is CSA Certified.

One-handed belt tensioning allows fast speed changes, an integrated depth stop simplifies repetitive drilling, and the built-in LED work light reduces shadows while the Xacta-X laser system marks the drill center. The power switch has a safety key and a large paddle-style off button, and a large cast iron base adds stability.

Swing is 16-7/8 in., the table has a replaceable MDF insert, chuck size is 5/8 in. and column diameter is 3-5/32 in. Maximum spindle-to-table distance is 30 in. and spindle-to-base is 46-1/2 in. The assembled floor drill press measures 28-1/2 x 19 x 65 in. (L x W x H), and the recommended circuit size is 15 A.
