The JET J-8201K is a 14 in. metal/wood vertical band saw powered by a 1 HP, 115/230 V single-phase motor. Its gear box opens it up to metal, wood, non-ferrous metal and plastic, and it comes with two blades: a 14 TPI blade for metal and a 6 TPI blade for wood.
Throat capacity is 13-1/2 in. and maximum height capacity is 6 in., with 6 in. under the guide or 12 in. with a riser block. The adjustable 14 x 14 in. table sits 44 in. high and tilts 15° left and 45° right. Blade widths from 1/8 to 3/4 in. are accepted, and wood-cutting blade speed is 3300 SFPM.
