The JET JDP-20MF is a 20 in. floor drill press with a 1-1/2 HP single-phase motor for 115/230 V. Twelve spindle speeds run from 150 to 4,200 RPM, the spindle has an MT-3 taper and 4-5/8 in. of travel, and drilling capacity is 1 in. in cast iron and 3/4 in. in mild steel. A drill chuck and key come with the machine.

A quick-adjustment motor mount makes spindle speed changes fast, and a hinged metal cover encloses the belt and pulleys. The 1/2 in. diameter external depth stop locks with three nuts for quick setting, the spindle return spring has adjustable tension, and a telescoping safety guard covers the spindle. The on/off switch sits at the front of the head.

The 18-1/2 x 16 in. table carries six 1/2 in. T-slots on 3-1/2 in. centers, has 21-1/2 in. of travel and supports up to 80 lbs. Maximum spindle-to-table distance is 29-1/8 in., spindle-to-base distance is 46-3/4 in., and the column measures 3-3/8 in. across. Overall size is 33-1/2 x 18-1/2 x 67 in., and this 20 in. drill press weighs 282 lbs.
