Lincoln Electric Aspect 230 DC TIG/Stick Welder, 230A, 120-460V Input, K4346-1
The Lincoln Electric Aspect 230 DC is an inverter DC TIG and stick welder with up to 230 A of output, and its PowerConnect technology adapts automatically to input from 120 V to 460 V. It TIG welds material up to 1/4 in. thick, offers high-frequency and Lift-Arc starts with pulse from 0.1 to 500 Hz, and saves custom setups in up to nine memory slots.
Output covers 5-230 A DC TIG, post-flow gas adjusts from 0 to 25 sec, and output terminals are Dinse-style 35-50. Waveform customization, a full sequencer and pulse options let the operator fine-tune the arc for each application, and the stored memory settings mean repeat jobs start from the same parameters.
Intellistart adapts the arc start to material thickness, giving thin material a softer start with minimal distortion and thicker sections a hotter one. The lightweight, portable unit suits shop and field work, has a 10 ft (3 m) input power cord, and carries CSA and CE certifications.
