Lincoln Electric DLF-82 Pulsed MIG Bench Wire Feeder, 60 lb Reel Stand, K5282-2

The Lincoln Electric DLF-82 bench wire feeder handles pulsed MIG and CV-MIG welding with Flextec power sources, and this configuration adds a wire reel stand for spools up to 60 lb. The package also includes .035/.045 drive rolls and an integrated 5-pin ArcLink control cable, and synergic, pulse and auto-setting functions work with a compatible Flextec.

For synergic setup, the operator chooses the gas type, wire diameter, wire type and weld process, then works one knob: higher wire feed speed for thicker material, lower for thinner, while voltage adjusts automatically. Pre-flow, post-flow, run-in speed and burn-back are then set automatically from that configuration, and limits and lockouts lower the chance of accidentally welding outside the procedure.

Pulsed MIG brings lower spatter and greater puddle control, but it needs a Flextec that supports pulse; synergic modes and auto settings likewise need a Flextec compatible with each. With a matching Flextec, the DLF-82 forms a wire feeder and power source system that keeps MIG (GMAW) setup simple.
