Lincoln Electric DLF-84 Pulsed MIG Bench Wire Feeder with Gun, 60 lb Reel Stand

The Lincoln Electric DLF-84 bench wire feeder works with Flextec power sources in pulsed MIG and CV-MIG welding, and this configuration includes a welding gun and a wire reel stand for spools up to 60 lb. It is push-pull capable with a 12-pin connection kit, and for aluminum welding a compatible Lincoln Electric push-pull gun is the suggested match.

The package holds .035/.045 drive rolls, the wire reel stand, a welding gun and an integrated 5-pin ArcLink control cable. On a Flextec with synergic capability, the operator chooses the gas type, wire diameter, wire type and weld process, then sets wire feed speed with one knob while voltage follows automatically, and start and crater settings can be customized to shape the weld at both ends.

Pulsed MIG, which brings lower spatter and greater puddle control, needs a Flextec that supports pulse. Pre-flow, post-flow, run-in speed and burn-back settings are automatic on a compatible Flextec, and limits and lockouts reduce the chance of welding outside the procedure. Together with a matching Flextec, the DLF-84 forms a wire feeder and power source system built around simple MIG (GMAW) setup.
