Lincoln Electric Cougar Air-Cooled Push-Pull Gun, 25 ft

Lincoln Electric's Cougar is an air-cooled, pistol-grip push-pull gun for aluminum fabrication and production welding, aimed at operators who favor an upright grip. This version has a 25 ft (7.6 m) cable, and a multi-turn potentiometer gives fine wire feed speed adjustment for left- and right-handed operators alike.

The Sure-Grip pistol handle is light and evenly balanced, and it suits left- or right-hand use. Its integrated strain relief bends with the cable to ease handling and guard the wiring inside, the recessed trigger is shielded against accidental breakage, and the power cable sits inside an abrasion-resistant cover so it does not chafe.

Drive roll changes need no tools: the slip-fit, dual-groove rolls have a D-contour that stops them spinning. Copper Plus contact tips use a larger diameter and more mass to shed heat and last longer, the Posi-Seat barrel locking nut seals against gas leaks, and expendables are shared with Lincoln Magnum PRO and Panther guns.
