Lincoln Electric Flex Feed 84 Boom Mount Wire Feeder One-Pak, Dual Wire Drive

The Lincoln Electric Flex Feed 84 dual boom wire feeder One-Pak is a dual head unit configured for boom mounting. At the feeder it shows the preset voltage, records actual arc-on time and offers timers for preflow, run-in, start, crater, burnback and postflow, and it feeds MIG (GMAW) and flux-cored wire at 50 to 750 ipm with a 600 A rating.

Voltage and wire feed speed are preset digitally, up to four procedures can be saved in user memories, process limits can be locked with a passcode, and the display shows actual voltage and current while welding. A selectable wire retract draws the wire back into the nozzle, which helps prevent operator injury.

The four-roll MaxTrac drive takes solid wire to 3/32 in. (2.4 mm) and cored wire to 0.120 in., the system runs on 24-42 VAC with a 14-pin analog connection to the power source, and the gun bushing is Tweco #2-#4. It measures 16.5 x 22.5 x 30.6 in. (H x W x D), weighs 93 lbs (42.185 kg), carries CSA and UL safety listings and suits general and heavy fabrication.
