Lincoln Electric Flex Feed 84 Boom Mount Wire Feeder, Dual Wire Drive, No U/I
The Lincoln Electric Flex Feed 84 boom mount wire feeder, No U/I version, is a dual head wire drive made to work with a Flex Feed control box that has a UI. It mounts to a welding boom, feeds MIG (GMAW) and flux-cored wire at 50 to 750 ipm, takes solid wire to 3/32 in. and cored wire to 0.120 in., and carries a 600 A rating.
The MaxTrac drive has four driven rolls, a rugged cast aluminum feed plate, tool-less drive rolls and tool-less split wire guides that prevent birdnesting, so feeding stays consistent over long conduit runs. The wire drive circuit board is encapsulated against the elements, gun adapters make solid electrical connections that cut voltage drop, and the gun bushing is Tweco #2-#4.
The unit runs on 24-42 VAC, measures 16.5 x 22.5 x 30.6 in. (H x W x D), weighs 65 lbs (29.484 kg) and carries CSA and UL safety listings. Typical applications are heavy fabrication and structural fabrication, and the modular Flex Feed 84 system can be set up as a single, dual, bench or boom feeder and converted as the workspace changes.
