Lincoln Electric Frontier 400X Ready-Pak 1 Welder Generator, Perkins

The Lincoln Electric Frontier 400X Ready-Pak 1 (Perkins, K3484-1-RP1) is a rent-ready diesel welder generator package, preassembled at the factory with a trailer that has integrated lights and forklift pockets, a fender kit, a cable rack, welding cables, ground clamps and an electrode holder. The welder delivers up to 400 A (IEC rated 325 A) and 11 kW of three-phase power.

The package combines the welder with the trailer, fender kit and cable rack and adds welding cables, ground clamps and an electrode holder, all assembled at the factory. The turbocharged 24.7 hp Perkins 403F-15T diesel meets EPA Tier 4 Final and draws from a 20 gal. (75.7 L) tank, with Auto-Stop/Start idle control to save fuel and engine wear.

Six optimized CC and CV modes are joined by STT, pulsed MIG, pulsed TIG and mechanized-equipment modes, and auxiliary power is available at 240 VAC three-phase as well as 120/240 VAC single-phase. The 7 in. digital interface saves weld memories, gives maintenance reminders and supports PIN authorization, CrossLinc provides voltage or current control at the arc over the weld cable, True Voltage Technology (TVT) offsets voltage drop, and patented Chopper Technology is included.
