Lincoln Electric Frontier 400X Ready-Pak 3 Welder Generator, Perkins

The Lincoln Electric Frontier 400X Ready-Pak 3 (Perkins, K3484-1-RP3) is a rent-ready diesel welder generator package that combines the welder with a trailer carrying integrated lights and forklift pockets, a fender kit and a cable rack, all preassembled at the factory. It offers up to 400 A (IEC rated 325 A) and 11 kW of continuous three-phase power.

Ready-Pak 3 adds the fender kit and cable rack to the lighted trailer with forklift pockets. The turbocharged 24.7 hp Perkins 403F-15T diesel meets EPA Tier 4 Final, with good cold-weather starting and high-altitude performance, and its 20 gal. (75.7 L) tank pairs with Auto-Stop/Start idle control. Auxiliary power is offered at 240 VAC three-phase as well as 120/240 VAC single-phase, and the three-phase side runs plasma cutters, pumps and inverter welders.

Six optimized CC and CV modes and advanced modes for STT, pulsed MIG, pulsed TIG and mechanized equipment handle welding and carbon arc gouging. The 7 in. digital interface stores weld memories, shows maintenance reminders and supports PIN authorization, CrossLinc gives voltage or current control at the arc over a standard weld cable, True Voltage Technology (TVT) offsets voltage drop, and patented Chopper Technology is included.
