Lincoln Electric LN-25X Portable CrossLinc Wire Feeder, TVT, No Flowmeter, Tweco

The Lincoln Electric LN-25X portable wire feeder with CrossLinc and TVT is a lightweight unit for field construction that lets the welder set voltage right at the feeder, with no control cable, on a CrossLinc-compatible power source. It feeds MIG (GMAW) and flux-cored wire at 50 to 700 ipm with a 450 A rating, and this version has no flowmeter and a Tweco input power connection.

Dropping the control cable means less clutter to drag across the site, fewer connections at setup and no helper or trip back to the power source to change a setting. TVT corrects for the voltage lost over long weld cables, so the arc runs at the voltage dialed in at the feeder even when the power source sits hundreds of feet away, and unintended machine adjustments are ruled out.

The electronics are fully encapsulated against the environment, and the replaceable flame-resistant case can be changed in under five minutes. The feeder weighs 37 lbs (16 kg), measures 15 x 8.7 x 23.2 in. (H x W x D), takes spools up to 300 mm and runs on 15-110 VDC, feeding solid wire to 1/16 in. and cored wire to 5/64 in. through two driven rolls and a Tweco #2-#4 gun bushing. It carries CSA and UL safety listings.
