Lincoln Electric Ranger 305 LPG Propane Welder Generator, 300A, 9,000W, Kohler

The Lincoln Electric Ranger 305 LPG is a propane welder generator for jobsites where gasoline and diesel exhaust is ruled out. A 25 hp Kohler Command OHV engine running on liquid propane drives DC multi-process welding rated 300 A at 25 V, plus 10,000 W peak and 9,000 W continuous single-phase AC power at a constant 120 V or 240 V.

This engine-driven welder covers stick (SMAW), downhill pipe stick, TIG (GTAW), cored wire and MIG (GMAW) with CO2 or mixed gas, and CV wire welding takes electrodes up to 5/64 in. (2.0 mm). Digital weld meters show amps and volts so procedures can be preset and output monitored, a built-in hot start eases starts and restrikes, and Chopper Technology keeps the arc smooth with little spatter. Welding and generator outputs are rated at 104°F (40°C).

The generator side delivers 10,000 W peak for motor starting and 9,000 W continuous for back-up power, an Invertec inverter welder, lights, a grinder or other power tools, and the voltage holds steady at 120 V or 240 V at any weld dial setting. A liquid propane hose and coupler are supplied for hooking the welder/generator up to an LP-gas cylinder's liquid draw outlet.
