Lincoln Electric Vantage 549X Ready-Pak 2 Welder Generator, Trailer

The Lincoln Electric Vantage 549X Ready-Pak 2 is a diesel welder generator preassembled on a trailer at the factory. The turbocharged Deutz engine-driven welder delivers up to 575 A of welding output, IEC rated at 525 A, with CrossLinc control at the arc and 19 kW of continuous three-phase auxiliary power.

Ready-Pak 2 (K3534-2-RP2) is the Vantage 549X and its trailer assembled as one rent-ready package. Five process modes cover arc gouging, CV wire, DC touch-start TIG, downhill pipe and CC stick, the gouging mode takes carbon rods up to 3/8 in. (9.5 mm), and Chopper Technology prevents engine stalling when gouging. Custom modes serve stainless steel, aluminum and steel, with advanced SAW, orbital pipe and pulse welding for out-of-position and low-heat-input work.

CrossLinc enables voltage or current control at the arc through a standard weld cable, so no separate control cable is needed, and True Voltage Technology compensates for voltage drop. The 49.4 hp turbocharged Deutz TD2.9L4 diesel meets EPA Tier 4 Final, and the welder/generator supplies continuous three-phase output of up to 19 kW at 240 V plus 120/240 V single-phase power for plasma cutters, pumps or inverter welders.
