Lincoln Electric Vantage 566X Diesel Welder Generator, Deutz, 600A, 20 kW
The Lincoln Electric Vantage 566X is a diesel welder generator offering up to 600 A of welding output, IEC rated at 525 A, and continuous three-phase auxiliary output of up to 20 kW. A 65.7 hp turbocharged Deutz engine meeting EPA Tier 4 Final drives it, and the machine is suited to pulse welding, large submerged arc wires and heavy-duty carbon arc gouging.
This engine-driven welder offers five process modes, Arc Gouging, CV-Wire, DC Touch Start TIG, Downhill Pipe and CC-Stick, for stick (SMAW), TIG (GTAW), CV wire welding and gouging, and the gouging mode takes carbon rods up to 3/8 in. (9.5 mm). Chopper Technology prevents engine stalling when gouging. Custom modes serve stainless steel, aluminum and steel, with advanced SAW and orbital pipe modes and pulse welding for out-of-position and low-heat-input welds.
CrossLinc carries voltage or current control to the arc over a standard weld cable, so no control cable is needed, and True Voltage Technology compensates for voltage drop. As a welder/generator it supplies continuous three-phase output of up to 20 kW at 240 V, plus 120/240 V single-phase power, for plasma cutters, pumps or inverter welders. The 65.7 hp turbocharged Deutz diesel meets EPA Tier 4 Final.
