The Lincoln Electric VIKING 3350 LED PAPR is a complete powered air-purifying welding respirator built around the black VIKING 3350-series helmet with an LED light. A two-speed blower sends purified air through the hose into the modified helmet, whose 4C lens carries a 1/1/1/1 optical rating, and the system supplies breathable air for up to eight hours.

Inside the helmet, an adjustable baffling system directs the airflow away from the eyes so they do not dry out. The 4C lens keeps the 1/1/1/1 optical clarity rating while reducing the lime-green tint, which improves visibility, eases eye strain and gives a clearer view of the weld puddle. Its large viewing area takes in more of the welding area for better operator control, and improved ADF circuitry draws more performance from the lens battery.

The blower unit weighs 2.2 lbs, runs at two speeds and warns of a low battery with both an audible and a vibrating alarm. Air travels from the blower through a hose into the helmet, so this PAPR system combines respiratory protection with an auto-darkening welding lens and an LED light in one setup.
