Lincoln Electric FlexCut 35 Air Plasma Cutter, Power Source Only, 120/240V

This Lincoln Electric FlexCut 35 Air plasma cutter packs a built-in air compressor into a portable 35 A machine, so it cuts without shop air on job sites and mobile work. It runs on 120/240 V single-phase power, cuts mild steel to 3/8 in. maximum, weighs 35 lb and is rated IP23S. This version is the power source only.

Output adjusts from 15 to 35 A, and a 30 A circuit breaker is recommended. On mild steel the recommended cut is 1/4 in. at 20 ipm, the maximum 3/8 in. at 10 ipm and severance 1/2 in. at 5 ipm, and it also cuts stainless and aluminum. Processes are plasma cutting and grid cutting, an engine drive needs about 5.5 kW of auxiliary power for the full 35 A, and external air at 90-130 psi can be connected when available.

A bright LCD with a central knob shows amperage, process, air source, gas purge and advanced settings, and in guided mode it suggests an amperage range from the material type and thickness entered. Consumables snap in without tools on a threadless electrode connection. Supplied with the power source are an air filter, a work clamp and cable, an input power cord, a 120 V input adapter and a shoulder strap, and typical uses are on-site maintenance, small construction sites, HVAC duct installation, demolition and rental fleets.
