Lincoln Electric FlexCut 45 Plasma Cutter, Power Source Only, 120/230V, K5823-PS

The Lincoln Electric FlexCut 45 plasma cutter power source delivers 45 A, runs on 120 V or 230 V single-phase power and has a built-in CPC port for a mechanized torch or CNC table. It cuts mild steel to 5/8 in. recommended and 7/8 in. maximum; this version comes without a torch, while the Ready-Paks (K5823-H and K5823-M) add one.

Guided mode selection on the LCD covers cutting, gouging and grid or expanded-metal cutting, and Parts-in-Place detection checks the consumables. The non-high-frequency touch start with rapid arc restrike is CNC-safe and keeps the arc going through expanded metal, paint and rust. An inline air dryer is built in, and the air supply should be 80-120 psi.

The FlexConnect torch system swaps torch heads and cables quickly, and compatible torches include 25 ft FlexConnect handheld torches and mechanized torch packages for CNC table integration. Typical work ranges from HVAC ductwork and automotive bodywork or restoration to structural steel fabrication, art and custom fabrication, and switching between 120 V on site and 230 V in the shop needs no tools.
