The Lincoln Electric FlexCut 85 plasma cutter Handheld Ready-Pak pairs an 85 A power source with a 25 ft FlexConnect PRO hand torch. It runs on 200-600 V single- or three-phase input, offers eight cutting processes and cuts mild steel to 1 in. recommended and 1-1/4 in. maximum, with a built-in CPC port that detects a CNC table automatically.

The eight processes are drag, fine, extended and precision cutting, gouging, marking, grid or expanded-metal cutting and mechanized cutting. A large LCD shows machine status in real time and guides process setup, which helps in shops where several operators share one machine. FlexConnect torch heads and cables change in seconds without tools, for example from a handheld drag setup to a mechanized torch.

The integrated air dryer treats the incoming air, which should be 80-120 psi, and the non-high-frequency touch start with rapid arc restrike is CNC-safe. The Ready-Pak also includes a work cable and ground clamp, an input power cord, a consumable kit with nozzles, electrodes, a swirl ring, a retaining ring and shields (gouging parts included), the dryer's airline attachment and the operator's manual. It is aimed at structural steel contractors, CNC cutting operations and fabrication shops that regularly cut plate up to 1-1/4 in.
