Lincoln Electric Flextec 500X Multiprocess Welder, DLF-82 Ready-Pak, Pulsed MIG
The Lincoln Electric Flextec 500X / DLF-82 Ready-Pak is a 500 A pulsed MIG welding system for fabrication work, pairing the Flextec 500X multiprocess power source with the DLF-82 wire feeder. Synergic weld modes give one-knob control, and pulsed MIG brings lower spatter and better puddle control on steel, stainless steel or aluminum.
Synergic weld mode technology ties voltage to wire feed speed: the operator sets a higher speed for thicker material and a lower one for thinner, and the voltage adjusts automatically. Pulsed MIG also makes the process more forgiving, and arc control stays precise whether the job is steel, stainless steel or aluminum.
Behind the feeder, the Flextec 500X power source supplies up to 500 A for stick, MIG, flux-cored, TIG and arc gouging, with standard pulse modes for aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel and metal-cored wire. CrossLinc adjusts voltage and amperage at the arc without control cables, TVT offsets voltage drop on long cable runs, and the IP23 rating and Desert Duty rating up to 131°F (55°C) suit indoor and outdoor work.
