Lincoln Electric Flextec 500X Multiprocess Welder, Flex Feed 84 One-Pak, 500A

The Lincoln Electric Flextec 500X multiprocess welder delivers up to 500 A, and this Flex Feed 84 Heavy Duty One-Pak pairs it with a Flex Feed 84 wire feeder and a Magnum PRO Curve 400 MIG gun. It welds stick, MIG, flux-cored and TIG and handles arc gouging, with basic pulse MIG and CrossLinc control for heavy-duty indoor and outdoor work in shipyards, construction sites and fabrication shops.

The Flex Feed 84 feeds wire consistently over long conduit runs, keeps 4 user memories and is built around the MaxTrac wire drive. Along with the gun, the One-Pak supplies a flowmeter regulator with gas hose and the necessary cables and connectors, and Flextec power sources also work with nearly all Lincoln Electric wire feeders.

Basic pulse MIG (GMAW) comes standard, with weld modes for aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel and metal-cored wire, alongside stick (SMAW), TIG (GTAW) and flux-cored welding. CrossLinc sends voltage or current adjustments through the standard weld cable, so the operator can change settings at the arc, hundreds of feet from the machine, without any control cable. The enclosure is IP23 rated, the Desert Duty rating covers up to 131°F (55°C), and trayed and potted PC boards protect the electronics.
